Due to the number of positive COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations across the country and locally, Linn County has closed most buildings to the public to help reduce community spread of the virus and to help ensure continuity of County services.
Linn County Public Health provides travelers with travel immunization consultation relevant to the area of travel and suggested immunizations/prescriptions. Travelers will be provided printed materials that outlines potential threats present in the area of travel.
There is currently a worldwide shortage of yellow fever vaccine. Stamaril, manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur in France, is a live, attenuated yellow fever vaccine that is investigational/unlicensed in the US, but it is registered and currently distributed in over 70 countries.
